Shane D. Coblin - Associate

Shane Coblin was born and raised in Vancouver. He joined Kornfeld Mackoff Silber LLP in 2006, after returning home from Toronto where he has practiced for five years. He brings with him extensive experience in all facets of commercial litigation.

Shane graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2001, he received his Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, was called to the Bar in Ontario in October, 2002 and to the Bar in British Columbia in December, 2006.

Shane articled at Stikeman Elliott, and continued to practice there as an associate in its litigation department until 2004 when he left to join Kramer Henderson LLP, a top rated boutique litigation firm. He practiced there until 2006 when he decided to return to Vancouver to join our firm.

Shane appeared regularly before all level of courts and tribunals in Ontario and now appears regularly before all level of courts and tribunals in British Columbia.
